Well it’s now 2012 and Bibbles have decided to have a New Year make-over. Our new look website is now bigger and brighter with lots of new features like our FAQ page which should answer any of your questions, the photos and product information are clearer, our discounts and sizing are now clearly displayed on the top of each page, hopefully making your overall experience shopping with Bibbles quicker and easier. And keeping an eye on things from up in the clouds of course is Bibble the Orangutan. Well I hope you like it as much as we do and we’d love to hear your comments x

Georgia & Isobel Model Their Bibbles

We have regular enquiries from our customers (particularlythe new ones) asking “Which size Bibble would be appropriate for my child”

This photo of my granddaughters may be of help.

Isobel (on the right)  looking longingly toward the fudge that she’s just been made to put down, is 2y 5 m.  She is modeling ‘candyfloss’ in the standard baby/toddler size, neck diameter 13″. Her interests are doing ‘wiggle wiggle’, banging cutlery loudly at meal times, and posting important household objects through small holes.

Georgia (on the left) clearly a natural poser, is adorned by ‘Sally the Sheep’  She will be 5 in January and is wearing a size 1, neck diameter 15″. Her interests include looking like a princess, watching princess’s on t.v. and seeing princess’s on ice.

Both Bibbles are sized adequately despite being on the shortest popper setting.

This last 10 days have been hectic to say the least. We have just moved into  new premises and are now in a position to store larger quantities of fabric.

Word seems to have got round, and our suppliers have been sending numerous cotton candidates  who will attempt to pass the rigorous  Bibbles entrance exam.

Becoming a Bibble is every cotton’s aspiration. It’s a bit like being accepted at Oxbridge. If successful their parents become so  proud and irritating, their friends and neighbours make excuses when asked round for a dinner party.

Anyway we have 5 successful  candidates already and a couple of packs that have made it through.

When our Victoria went through her teething phase it was horrendous, she was continually gushing.

That was until we discovered Bibbles.

Now she does it “just for fun” and to make a few bob out of the regular tourists.

Hi Everymum.

My names Lilly, and I’d like to dedicate my first ever blog to my lovely first ever grandaugher Georgia.

In 2008 Georgia,then aged just three, was enthusiasicly training for the Beijing Olympic ‘Dribbling’ event.  A gold medal for Team GB was a sure thing.

Normal bibs were purchased but to no avail. We thought strapping a car songe around her neck may be the answer but even with ‘Sponge Bob’ at the peak of his popularity, it seemed a little harsh.

I had seen  bandana slyle bibs which looked like they may do the job but they were so expensive. Using my years of experience designing and making wedding dresses I decided to make  a few bibs for Georgia. The Bibble was born and the dribble was history.
